Tour de Gracetown Wrap Up

December 4, 2019

After a successful 2019 charity ride, we welcome Tour de Gracetown 2020

On Friday 1st November 2019 we headed down to the wonderful Margaret River region in our beautiful south west to help organisers with registrations, event sign-ins and merchandise sales in preparation for the Tour de Gracetown the following morning.

Up early on Saturday morning our volunteers again helped with sign-ins at the Gracetown Hall before the riders headed off. Our intrepid team of riders comprising Geoff , Maddie, Bec and Ken hit the road and after making it up the first big hill found their rhythm and all finished the 60 km short course with relative ease.
While the team was out on the road our volunteers helped set up at Juniper Estate, prepared fruit for the riders and cooked up a storm on the barbie. Thanks to Leonie, Chris, Allan, Marilyn, Esther, Danny, Marion, David, David and Nola for an incredible effort in helping make this event so successful for all.

Thanks to Tour de Gracetown, Roytec, Reids Meats & Delicatessen, The Good Grocer Applecross and the Rotary Club of Belmont for their generous donations and support. The funds are still coming in and should make our role of delivering much needed services to men and their families affected by prostate cancer so much easier to achieve.

Thanks also to the Brook family for their incredible fundraising efforts – what champions!

We would also like to thank the Perth Integrated Health Events Team for the fantastic and professional way they ran this event.

PCaHELP has again been chosen as a beneficiary of the Tour de Gracetown 2020 which will be held on Saturday 31st October 2020.

More information will be available on our website soon.

We hope to see you all there.
